“ We actually were going to eat next door but there was too long of a wait so we were able to eat here, and I was not disappointed! It was our first day in Bradenton and we wanted some authentic seafood. I got the Grouper and it was delicious. My husband got it blackened and that's what I would get next time. The only complaint I have is the man playing the guitar, who was fantastic, was way too loud and we couldn't talk easily with the people at our table. I just wish they would have turned down his speaker a bit. We had a party of 6. And there were plenty of other seating arrangements for different sizes of parties. Bar seating, tables, high tables, etc. I would definitely go here again. ”

“ We have been fond of Snow Crabs for many years. We have been meaning to go to the Cortez Kitchen for the Wednesday night special for sometime and we decided to go last night. They have outside and inside seating. The outside area is on the water and you can watch the birds. The place was busy but we found a table (seat yourself). The server came over with the menus and took our order for drinks. We didn't really need a menu as we were there to try the Crabs. Looking at the menu we were made aware that the restaurant offers a nice variety of food. Our order was delivered quickly and we enjoyed every morsel of the Crab Legs. You will thoroughly enjoy this well kept secret in this quiet fishing village and the amazing crab legs We Highly Recommend the Cortex Kitchen. You will not be dissapointed. ”
“ Relaxing outdoor cafe on the water. We enjoyed eating our lunch and having drinks by the water. I had the blackened fish tacos, which were very flavorful. Others had the Honey Butter Chicken sandwich and the shrimp basket. Overall, a very tasty meal! ”
“ This place is we enjoyed everything we tried. Crab specials are Wednesday only and it was so good. Drinks are also good and strong. Wear bug spray your on boat dock and mosquitoes can get pretty active. We will be back ”

We tried the shrimp cocktail the fish tacos and coconut rice , blackened shrimp basket with Fries and the goat cheese salad . Our food was delicious and fresh. Drinks were incredible! “ You can’t beat the view here and the food is very good. I used to come here all the time years ago but stopped a while ago when the quality seems to go downhill. Dont know what happened but it was delicious today. I’m so glad because I love the low key waterside vibe here. Fish tacos and grouper sandwich were excellent. Enjoyed the stone crabs too! Hoping they bring back coconut shrimp. Friendly service. Highly recommend. ”
